”Road Less Traveled”

Many of us will travel, either to far off distances, or to closer places new to our discovery. And we will ask ourselves the questions: Where will we go? How will we get there? What will we do? What will we learn along the way? We may look to guidebooks and references or we may simply show up. But however we go, there is a road less traveled. It involves an inner path. That is the road upon which we set our sight. That is the journey that will require no luggage. Yet, it will take us everywhere we want to go.

“I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”

Robert Frost

“The will of the soul is determination. Soul has a twofold objective. The one is to spiritualize our heart, mind and senses with the qualities of God, and the other is to lift our consciousness to the state of godhood wherein we attain the realization of our transcendental Self. Soul is ever faithful in fulfilling its sacred purpose. It is undaunted in its resolution. Determination keeps us firmly established on the path of self-perfection.”

“We are always at the crossroads of our spiritual destiny. Will we proceed along the same habitual route or take a new direction? Will we repeat the same old problems or take a higher-minded course to solve them? The old path offers only perpetuation of the old. The new one will surely bring new challenges, but also the promise of greater happiness and wisdom.”
