“The Light of the Heavens and the Earth”

In our spiritual journey towards enlightenment we endeavor to realize the full meaning of the scriptural teaching “God is the Light of the Heavens and the Earth”.  As human beings our eyes show us light of the manifested world, the light of the Earth. As we awaken to the consciousness of our spiritual being, we begin to understand that the light of the sun is but one manifestation of the effulgent and transcendental light of God. We yearn to open our eyes and directly see the the Light of the Heavens.  How do we fulfill this wish and connect our earthly lives with that Light of the Heavens?

“In the thought of God was first created the individual soul with all it powers of self-unfoldment.”

Soul guides life forward. Having at its command infinite wisdom, power and love, soul journeys through the manifested universe, for only thus does it gain direct knowledge of the glory and magnificence of its creator. But the soul finally returns to it state of absolute self-perfection in the realization of its oneness with God in conscious blissfulness.  

The self is endowed with the power to guide itself to the realization of absolute self-perfection. And the self, having fulfilled its divine duty by revealing cosmic illumination, merges in the limitless, luminous dynamic stillness.  Verily, with self-mergence in the infinity of effulgent pure-consciousness is realized the absolute Self in conscious bliss.
