Live life to the fullest. How do we do that?
It is easy to fall victim to our weakness of mind, to our changing emotions, to our physical frailty. We need to remind ourselves that we have the ultimate source of wisdom, peace and strength eternally available to our election.
In our meditation we call upon God to reveal to us our absolute perfection.

From the Gurus and Swamis: AUM
“Soul is our true and immortal self. In our soul we realize our identity with God.”
—Swami Premananda
“When the heart is made perfectly pure it receives the Spiritual Light, and anointed by the Spirit, man enters the kingdom of God which is within himself. At this state he realizes himself as an integral part of God. But gradually, through profound contemplation which is true worship, he becomes one with God and realizes his real nature with the illumination that the whole universe is but his own Self.”
—Swami Sri Yukteswar
“We are spirit. Our ‘life’ is very complex: patterns, confluences, and motions of light, consciousness and will coming together in a composite form that is far more extensive than our physical body. Our ‘life’ is the very substance of God — His light and love and life — manifesting, evolving and ascending to His perfection.”
—Swami Kamalananda
"There should be complete harmony between the inner spirit and the outer life. The qualities of soul must inspire and perfect all aspects of self-expression. That is the secret of spiritual life."
—Shyamacharan Lahiri
Noble Thoughts: ("Let Noble Thoughts come to us from all sides." —Rigveda)
“They who having attained the supreme soul in knowledge were filled with wisdom, and having found him in union with Soul were in perfect harmony with the inner self, they having realized him in the heart were free from all selfish desires, and having experienced him in all the activities of the world had attained calmness. The rishis were they who, having reached the supreme God from all sides, had found abiding peace, had become united with all, had entered into the life of the universe.”
—Rabindranath Tagore
“I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately, I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to put to rout all that was not life and not when I had come to die discover that I had not lived.”
—Henry David Thoreau
”It is easy to live in the world according to its own opinion. It is also easy to live in solitude according to one’s own opinion. But he is great who can maintain with sweetness the freedom of solitude in the midst of the crowd of the world.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Every plane of man’s being is dependent upon the other planes. For instance, if the body has lost its rhythm, something goes wrong with the mind; if the mind has lost its rhythm, the body goes wrong; if the heart has lost its rhythm, the mind is puzzled; and if the rhythm of the soul is lost, then all is wrong.”
—Hazrat Inayat Khan
