”Hong-Swa Meditation”

In our spiritual journey, as we ascend the stairway of consciousness, we come to the realization of I in Thou and Thou in Me. In the rhythm of breath and balance of prana we mentally repeat the mantram guiding us to the realization of absolute oneness with God.

“The flame of pure-consciousness is eternally ignited within this body. By the meditation of Hong-Swa, all delusion having been dispelled, the Self is revealed in its effulgent glory. In the realization of oneness with Brahman, the Self, man transcends death. There is no path other than this to the attainment of immortality and bliss.”

Svetasvatara Upanishad
Translation by Swami Premananda
Eight Upanishads

“The core of our being can never be tarnished. Like a mirror it remains pure, although images that fleetingly pass over its surface can temporarily weaken us. Hong Swa lifts our subjective mind above all shadows of limitations, releasing unnecessary or harmful memories by the power of its truth. The benefits of this meditation are three-fold: physical, mental and spiritual, as you detach yourself from your own body, focusing on the transcendental process of breathing. The practice of Hong Swa thus unites our consciousness with the power of prana through our breath.”
