“Art of Living”

What does it mean to be truly human? The Upanishads counsel us to live the full measure of life. We communicate this art of living through all our thoughts, words and actions. When we witness grace and beauty, balance and perfection in such expressions of life, we come to recognize true self-mastery.

“Purity of life is the highest and truest art.”

Mahatma Gandhi

“So shall we come to look at the world with new eyes. It shall answer the endless inquiry: What is truth? And what is good?

“Build, therefore, your own world. As fast as you conform your life to the pure idea in your mind, that will unfold its great proportion.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

”Every soul has a sphere of influence, a magnetic power corresponding to its unfoldments of love and light. When one diffuses his attentions, heedlessly dispersing his thoughts, his sympathies and trusts, he diminishes its domain and power, but when he nurtures the love-light that comprise his being that sphere enlarges with a sublimely transforming power of attraction and attunement.”
