Yoga in the Tradition of Advaita”

The ideal of Absolute Monism (Absolute Oneness) or Advaita (Non-Duality) is purely subjective. It is not historical doctrine or external creed but true realization. It is at the heart of all beings and is experienced rather than expressed. Self-realization comes with an understanding of duality and the ability to see beyond it. This Yoga requires Self-knowlege and Self-mastery in pursuit of Self-liberation.

“There is but one Reality that permeates thee and me and all beings. Rise above the consciousness of separation and realize thyself in all and all in thee.”

The Way of Wisdom and Self-Liberation

“Yoga is not acquired but revealed from within. We all practice yoga in our everyday life. Unfortunately, we do not know or are not consciously aware of this divine aspect of our nature. Yoga is as natural to us as our breathing, thinking and feeling. Self-enlightenment, the right knowledge about our total being, is vital to our individual well-being and thereby to the betterment of humanity and all beings. Yoga is a cosmic fact, the ultimate source of which should be traced back to the intuitive awareness of our soul’s abiding, eternal and absolute oneness with God.”

Swami Premananda
Raja Yoga: The Yoga of God-Realization

“The purpose of Yoga is seeking our largest, most enduring and most powerful identity. In this process we realize a potential consciousness that may seem dormant or undeveloped but is ultimately the most powerful, meaningful and sublime reality of Life. Awakening to the divine purpose of our life is itself a powerful transformation.”
