“Fulfilling Dharma”

What brings us fulfillment in life? Is it the work we do or the experiences we enjoy? Life presents us with countless responsibilities as well as opportunities. Sometimes it is difficult to discern which path is the right one for us. The Gita offers us counsel as Krishna instructs Arjuna. His guidance is eternally ours, to know and to cherish.

”I am confused about my Dharma. I supplicate thee. Tell me decisively which is better for me. In thee have I taken my refuge. I am thy disciple. Guide me.”

Srimad-Bhagavad-Gita 2:7
Translation by Swami Premananda

“I am the Self, all-prevading, eternal, all-knowing, all-blissful. Through all creation my eternal desire has searched for the eternal Self. Now the self is realized and all my longings have found their fulfilment. In the realization of the Self, the eternal desire of the heart attains its complete, permanent, and perfect fulfilment. Blessed is he who has realized the Self."

The Path of Pure Consciousness
Swami Premananda

“There is no greater Dharma than this service of living beings. If this Dharma can be practiced in the real spirit, then Liberation comes as a fruit on the very palm of one’s hand.”

Swami Vivekananda

”Be resolutely and faithfully what you are; be humbly what you aspire to be. Man’s noblest gift to man is his sincerity, for it embraces his integrity also.”

Henry David Thoreau
