“Sacred Forest”

Walk into the Sacred Forest of life and discern what it tells us. There is a secret that reveals its wonders if we sanctify our senses to the awareness of the still small voice that perpetually speaks. As Shakespeare wrote, one: “finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything.”

“Silence my soul, these trees are prayers. I asked the tree, ‘Tell me about God’; then it blossomed.”

Rabindranath Tagore

”Even the birds and the animals of the forest become friends to one who knows the art of love. No creature is immune to the power of love. To live is to love. Love completes life.”

“The Magnetic Power of Love (Bhakti Yoga)”
Swami Premananda

”Through Nature we see and feel the ways and means of God and understand the world as the word of God. The light that illumines Nature is the same Light that illumines our souls: God is the Light of the heavens and the Earth. With this reverence the earth becomes an altar for our worship of God.”

”The Forest of Forever”
Swami Kamalananda
