”For Goodness Sake”

Victory of goodness over evil…The remarkable power of the Goddess Durga to work for the sake of goodness in our lives is symbolized and honored during the holy season of Navratri. For nine nights, the various forms of Durga and her divine qualities reflect the spiritual awakening and divine power of the Soul.

“Goddess of Wisdom
who charts the seven seas
of the spirit’s voyage
divine architect of
all mansions of consciousness,
I contain and reveal
the constellations of awareness.

I open the frontiers of the spirit,
rewarding the dedicated sadhana
with enlightenment.
I reveal the seven frontiers of realization as
Subjectivity of mind,
Resignation in self-surrender,
Divine Guidance,
Secret of Maya in the Play of the Universe,
Glorification of divine manifestation,
Wealth of divine qualities, and
Attainment of Unity
through the harmonization of Duality.”

Frontiers of the Spirit

”If all the desires of my heart were fulfilled to their utmost satisfaction, still my soul would be longing for thee. For only in the realization of my soul’s absolute oneness with thee is the eternal yearning of my inmost spirit consummated to heavenly glory. Only in the conscious awareness of my inseparable oneness with God do I find courage to live by the qualities of divine righteousness and the wisdom to unfold and realize the spiritual perfection of my soul.”
